No Fools Gold

Film Screening – 6 pm, March 1st

Join us at 6 pm on March 1st to watch the new micro-documentary, No Fools Gold, about the story of the historic Mogollon silver-gold mining district in remote southwest New Mexico and the people who are fighting for its protection.

Filmmaker Claire Haughey, with support from WildEarth Guardians, spent a week filming in Mogollon in order to document the fierce local love of place, and the community’s steadfast commitment to protecting their wild, four-legged, feathered, and finned neighbors and their habitat.

The film is open to the public and will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the stars of the film and other local community members, and a presentation from local community storytelling advocates Little Globe.
